Re: Lost Dog in West Ajijic
Picked up Chiquita at Dr. Maciels' office and everything is fine much to my amazement some 10 days after she flew the coup. She has developed a little more grey hair but otherwise it appears she had a fine old time as a beach bum. Thank you all for your help - especially Trailrunner who contacted us with the vital information necessary to find her. Also many thanks to Dr. luis Maciel, the veterinarian who kept her safely for us until about an hour ago. Thanks also to the family who found Chiquita, protected her and took her to Dr. Maciiel for safekeeping and to find her someone to adopt her since, apparently, she had lost her tag somehow. I told Dr. Maciel that he had 5 new client mutts, our companions, and compensated him for his efforts. Nice guy. By the way, it seems that our use of Insidelakeside was a godsend. Thanks CB for starting this forum -otherwise a foolhardy notion if there ever was one.

So cool!
If CBob hadn't seen the FB post and started the ball rolling it would have never happened and Chiquita would be off living in another home without Bubba or Brigitte. And that almost happened!
Bubba, you forgot to thank Mark Zuckerberg!

That is nice to hear. With all of the terrible news surrounding the country as of late it is nice to hear a heartwarming story. Glad Chiquita made it home. Hope she pees on bubba's bed for being so careless!

So glad she's been found Bubba, I know how terrified my "little girl" would be if she were away from us a whole night . Chihuahuas are not usually into strangers. And.... Brigit never needs to know.

Re: Lost Dog in West Ajijic
Thanks Cousin Kippy but, despite Brigitte's being in France visiting her 95 year old mom, she is very aware of goings-on here in Mexico. I am not only relieved that Chiquita is back amongst us other retards because her presence gives me pleasure but because I may now anticipate surviving when the big bird from Paris aririves in Mexico with La Jefa on board.
Re: Lost Dog in West Ajijic
hahaha "Brigitte never needs to know" way too late for that. Brigitte knows ALL! And Bubba gets to live. And Chiquita is a happy girl. Win win win.
