VivaAerobus

We're heading down for out third recon trip this coming August. Our last visit was two years ago, and WOW, the price of airfare from our home base to Guadalajara has gone WAY up.  I've been checking on alternatives to the major airlines and came across VivaAerobus. I did a search on this board and the latest post was from Jan 14, 2015.

Does anyone have any more recent experience with VivaAerobus that they are willing to share?

Agree. Have used them several times between Guadalajara & Merida and Guadalajara & Mexicali. No problems so far. Website and Android apps are straight forward and easy to navigate.

Used them once last year from Guadalajara to Cabo.... no complaints (except that on my flight anyway the seats are close together and hard). Price was surely right!

Thanks everyone for the replies. I'd be willing to give them a try, but between their departure times and/or the timing of connecting flights, they're just not going to work out for us this tirip.

Have just flown with them from GDL to Merida and back. Professional flight and cabin crew, however, anybody 6 ft or taller should consider paying a bit more for more legroom - really tight.

Have you searched on www.hipmunk.com? They check almost all of the airlines, and other sites like Expedia, Travelocity, etc. It's a great way to compare prices and convenience of flights.
