Recommendations for Building an Area on Street of New House for Local Trash PickUp ??

How do I make it as easy as possible to ensure that when the trash truck comes by our trash gets picked up. We are building so now is the time to "plan" for it. Don't want to just place bags on the street. Thanks for the tips!
