Are there any stores lakeside that sell empty 5 gallon buckets? All the ones I see by the road are either broken or are used for parking barriers. Just need one.

Any place that uses products in 5 gallons places can sell them.. In Chiapas I get mine from a bakery that uses a lot of lard... but lard is not easy to wash off...painters have empty cans, construction people, people who buy cloro for their pools in big buckets etc..I also bought some in stores that sell plastic containers, if the ones here do not have them they should know where to get them.

The recycling place in Chapala, across from the Gudalajara Pharmacia sells them as well.

They are available in many places. Just ask, "¿Hay cubetas vacios?"
"Five gallon buckets", may cause confusion.

They charge $10 MX for the ones in Chapala....I just bought some there.
