Question for ChapalaMed

How many doctors do you have on staff?
How many of these doctors have a cedula?

All the Chapala Med doctors that advertise on Inside Lakeside have cedula numbers as required by the law.

All my doctors whom are on staff have a CEDULA. Dr. Henry sees patients along with me until he gets his cedula.

Cedula aside, Dr. Hernry's resume, credentials and experience are exceptional in comparison to any other GP, FAMILY DOCTOR or INTERNIST in the area. And most importantly, he speaks English(what seems to be a common pre-requisite) for people choosing a doctor @Lakeside.

ALL the doctors from Chapala Med and are advertising on IL, as BOB has stated, have a CEDULA as required by law.

So he has finished his one year of public service?

We are in the process of it. Meanwhile, he sees patients along with me. Meaning, I sign off on everything etc. We will advertise locally when he has his cedula. I'll be sure to let you know. Sound good ?

Meanwhile, please be assured that he is in good standing professionally and ethically in the U.S. So no need to worry about a history of malpractice or anything of that nature.

Sounded to me like a legitimate question as part of information gathering on a new doctor in town working at a high-priced clinic.

I guess the real question is: "What is his immigration status in Mexico and is he working legally; getting paid, etc., and does he ever see patients without you being present"
Is he Residente Temporal, or Permanente?

The answer is obvious , he does not have a CEDULA but he does not advertise.. Chapala med does..

You see, Dr. Hernandez, many of us on this board have been alive longer than you and have been here longer than you and seen a steady parade of "doctors" come and go. 

Many of us have been used and abused, misdiagnosed and overcharged, and bullshited to by some of these clowns about our health and well-being. When our bullshit meters light up, we have questions and want honest and direct answers. That's not too much to ask.

Thank you, Trailrunner. No one can expect us to quietly accept whatever is thrown our way when we have seen friends harmed physically and financially by bullshit artists running medical cons here. So we ask a lot of questions which should not be a problem for the legitimate practitioners to answer.
