Go Raptors

I don't normally follow basketball but being that the one and only Canadian team is playing for the trophy, tonights game could take it. The Raptors are up 3 games to 1, out of 7. They are playing San Fran. This could be the first time the trophy ends up out of the USA. We will trade to get our Stanley Cup back........

I'm up here it Toronto, and the Raptors has the whole country in a dither. It's a lot of fun. GO RAPTORS GO!!!!

Well Oakland is part of the San Fran Bay area so close enough indeed. Does anyone ever admit to living in Oakland?

Now Oakland aint that far from San Francisco. But telling someone in Oakland that the Warriors are from San Francisco, is a real insult  :)

Yeah, they are from San Francisco, just happen to play their home games at the Oracle in Oakland, and that will end this year.
Just like the NFL team NY Jets play their home games across the river in the Newark, NJ area, but they are still a NY team.

I thought the game was being played in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories as that was the only place they could find an igloo big enough for a basketball contest.

I.chose to live in Oakland versus San Francisco when I first got to the Bay area in 72. I hate San Francisco and th elacl of trees, the cement everywhere.. The climate in Oakand is wonderful and there are trees. The Oakland hills are really nice and I like the Spanish style houses from the 20´s and 30´s..

We moved to San Francisco from other places in the Bay area in 85.. At that point I had gotten used to it and we could afford a nice place but still I liked Oakaland and I worked on that side of the Bay for a while.

Yes Atherton is where my boss Sam Bronfman lived and I was offered a part time teaching job there that paid peanut but I would have had the pleasure to teach the kids of the rich in a very nice setting... I turned the job down for a minimum wage job in Oakland.

Great game tonight and the Warriors are still in the game! Those last couple minute 3 pointers by Steph Curry were excellent:-)
