K-9 Boutique Hotel

My good friend Carlos Hermosillo started this business, the "K-9 Boutique Hotel" a while back. Carlos was a protegé of Art Hess, and has been a dog walker/trainer and pet/house sitter for years. He speaks excellent English and is a great person. Very responsible and wonderful with dogs.

Now along with doing dog-walking/sitting, he also has a boarding facility. It's practically luxurious! And there's plenty of room for dogs to play and get exercise. Very convenient also if you're going to/from Guadalajara, the airport, or beyond. Here's a link to the Facebook page, plus a copy of his business card.

I second this. My dog loves Carlos and his boutique Hotel. Carlos is a great guy.

Yes, Carlos is Richie's (and Andrea's) brother.

Where is it located?

The K9 Boutique Hotel is located just about where the "Aqua Escondido" marker is on the screen shot Ferret provided. Once you go under the pedestrian overpass take a right off the carreterra then a right at the first street (old taco stand to the right). Go about 1/3 of a mile and it is on the right.
The great thing is, Carlos will pick-up and deliver your dog(s).

Yes, both Carlos and Richie are great with dogs and have tons of expierence.

But that map isn't correct. It's in Ixtlahuacan, but on the east side of the Chapala/Guadalajara highway. After coming down the hill/highway from Chapala, you take the first exit (by the tourist mercados/bodegas) and go right for about 1/2 mile. Super easy access going to and from the airport, Guadalajara or beyond.
