A/c minisplit service

Any recommendations for some one to service our A/C minisplit. It’s 5 years old and reckon we are long overdue!

Just curious, what service has to be done on them?

ermm well not sure but it is beginning to get a bit noisy and perhaps not as cold as it was. Am assuming like most other appliances it need a bit of TLC occasionally (very occasionally in this case!)

Yeah maybe they need refrigerant top ups and such.

Also the filters need cleaned.

They really should be serviced once a year if you use your a/c a fair amount. The inside unit gets taken almost completely apart and the squirrel cage and most other plastic parts get washed. The squirrel cage fan gets quite rude, actually. And, of course, the filter should be checked on a regular basis by the homeowner. Not sure what they do with the condenser unit.

We use Mirage A/C distributors for service on our mini split and have it serviced once a year. They have an office location in Riberas on the Highway very near Telecable's office Wizz or whatever it's called now. It helps if you know a bit of Spanish but I just had ours serviced and they took the unit apart and cleaned the drainage hose, the filters, the coils, etc and every year they check to make we may or may not need freon. It cost $1,000 pesos. They were very thorough and professional.
