I got my Moderna2 shot Tues in San Antonio,TX. This time it hurt more on the second day and I got slight fever and shakes. Took ibuprofen 400mg
Today I have very minor symptoms but feel very upbeat about having taken it.

At present rate of vaccinations in the US we should reach herd immunity (70%) by Sept. 14.

I don't expect USA to ever reach 70% vaccination goal. There are just to many people who are not going to take the shot, even among health officials. There is an early rush of people who want to take the shot but expect this to slow down by summer when vaccination will be available to everyone. I got my second shot today.

More for us, then. Helps to thin out the herd, I guess.

The remainder will catch covid and either recover or die. Those that recover should also be immune. Herd immunity will eventually be achieved one way or the other.
