Refrendo 2022

I went to the online site to renew and pay.  https://gobiernoenlinea1.jalisco.gob.mx/serviciosVehiculares/adeudos

It would not accept my US credit card.  After several attempts, I googled US credit cards and Jalisco online payments and one site said Visa and Mastercards are only accepted for transactions over 1000 pesos.  The net refrendo is 701 pesos.  

I went back to the renewal site and on the payment page, I clicked the option just below "Credit Cards" that generates a bar-coded payment form you can take to almost any bank; OXXO; Guadalajara Farmacia; Walmart and a host of other outlets and pay it.  For those of you who use MercadoLibre and pay at banks or OXXO it is a similar form at the Jalisco vehicle site.

I walked my form over to BBVA-Bancomer in Aijijc and paid it; there was a 12 peso commission to the bank.  They gave me my payment slip back along with a receipt for payment.

The payment slip has a note on it saying, wait 3 days then check back at the vehicle site to print your 2022 official document.  

I went to the bank on the 5th and today, the 7th my file showed the payment and I was able to print the document you need to carry in the car.

Correct, no more stickers.

Right no more window stickers. For me it was easier to pay at the Recauadora (sp?).

Printed off the bar coded payment form and paid at Walmart.

Thanks so much! When you go to the above site, one of the options is "Formato de Pago". If you click on that one, a pdf appears that is printable. There are different bar codes depending on where you want to pay. If you don't want to pay in a bank, you can pay at a 711, Chedraui, Farmacias del Ahorro, Farmacias Guadalajara, Bodega Aurrera, Superama, Oxxo, Extra, Farmacias Benavides, Walmart or Sam's Club.

p.s. all of the above has already been stated in previous posts. I just wanted to clarify the choices if you want to pay cash at any of the usual places that you do cash transactions.

To go directly to the Official Receipt to keep in your car, go to,

On the drop down menu, select Obligaciones y Derechos Vehiculares.  It will ask for you plate number and last 5 digits of your car's serial number.  And tax year.

You can print and download.

Not as easy as it should have been. Why do they need the RFC number? Had to jump through a few hoops to get it although I knew that I had one.

I did that. Then realized that I was on the wrong page. The page that wants the RFC # is to generate an invoice. If you go back and click on the folio number for your plates, it takes you straight to the receipt that you print and carry.

Well it's downright confusing. So when you go to the above link, enter the data again and then click on the light blue folio number to get the correct receipt and then print.

When I went to pay using the Bancomer debit card that I've used for years with a 4 digit PIN I was asked for my "secret 8 character password". What the hell is that?

I f the government doesn't get ya the banks will.

It was my intention to stay safe this year and also to keep the facilitators safe. I have no intention of using the online format again for anything. I am also not going to wait to see if the online format for house taxes starts up again.
1) the instructions and set up of the websites is irritating and confusing and frustrating (you can put those descriptions in any order you want)
2) I like the heavier paper that the official receipts from the government are using.

As always, YMMV. Tried it, not impressed, I'm done.

I prefer the online option. I didn't find it difficult though I would have preferred an option to pay with a world-wide credit card. But it's a short walk to a bank or OXXO.

Still no word on the predial portal though I will use it, since I used it last year.

Frankly I will do almost anything to avoid a drive to Chapala!

The extra 8 digit password is the "Token Movil" you create with your BBVA app. It is a one time security code and used as an extra layer of protection.

I'm a lot closer to Chapala and would rather go east than west any day of the week. Whatever works for you. I'm glad I tried it though.
