Printer problem Empty Printer problem

Please help if you can. I have a Canon TS3100 ink jet printer. It was printing fine a few days ago. Now when I try to print a message says that there is a paper jam which must be cleared. I have checked the paper input slot as well as the output slot...nothing. Short of trying to completely take it apart perhaps someone can suggest a repair person. Thanks to all. Barbara

Have you tried unplugging it and replugging it? That sometimes resets a device that shows an error message.
