Cole Slaw To Go, Ajijic Centro, on a Saturday, Without Pasas (Raisins)

I'm having ribs delivered tonight from El Rey Taco, but they don't come with cole slaw. I don't take my car out on weekends; so where in Ajijic Centro can I get some cole slaw to go....without pasas (raisins)??? I have gotten from Emma's in past but she's closed Saturday.

Please don't give me a recipe.

I'd rather buy and doctor up (if necessary) an already made one, but not interested in tweezing out pasas.

And the answer is............The Fried Chicken Place on Hidalgo just west of the Ajijic Plaza.  

And even though I'd already eaten lunch at home, I could not resist the aroma of their fried chicken and got a boneless thigh to go (they also had bone-in).  Wow, what a great crunch factor!

The slaw is a tad sweet for me, but that's usually true of store or restaurant slaw.  Easy fix.

Did that fried chicken place go in where David's place used to be?

Who puts raisins in Coleslaw? That would never occur to me.

I agree but it is/was common here. I first encountered it at Manix in 2008. Some chicken places make/made it with raisins.

I am unsure who still has pasas in their cole slaw as I quit ordering it years ago at those places.

No. The Fried Chicken place is a hole-in-the-wall storefront farther east (closer to the Plaza).

Basil Thai occupies David's old place.
