Casa de las Artesanias in Morelia

Anyone who has visited Morelia and been to this store can attest to the quality and variety of Michoacan arts & crafts available. "The Casa de las Artesanias in Morelia is having a 50% sale from November 3 through December 31. The last director had raised prices significantly, so looks like the new director is trying to get stuff moving so they can (hopefully) re-stock."

We spent an hour or so touring the facility back in August and it is well worth a visit:

We returned for another visit to Casa de las Artisanias again this trip and saw a number of new things. This store is operated by the State of Michoacan in recognition of their wonderful artisans and the benefits they provide to the State.

The other two are upstairs with looser displays and restaurant .... and a few junky shops
