Yes, several. Dr. Rivera, in Chapala, on Madero No. 378-D. TEL:(376) 765-7080. Actually had very extensive work. Satisfied and he’s very thorough. About a year ago and everything is still fine.

On the recommendations of a couple of forum members we recently had dealings with Dr. Barragan and found his referrals to be excellent.

The wife & I have both had root canals & other work done by Dr. Juan Garcia in Jocotepec. I wish their had been more like him in the U.S. Totally satisfied. (387) 763-0648.

I have not used him although he is highly recommended on all forums. A friend of mine uses him.

Dr Barragan is indeed an excellent endodontist. Root canals are his specialty, and he is very good at it.
I have had four. He is extremely gentle and will take good care of you. He also speaks English quite well.
There may be some wait for an appointment, so call early to set it up.
He also has an office in Guadalajara, and goes in two or three tomes a week.

Ditto on Dr. Barragan, the dentist we've been going to for two years.
During last weeks' vacation at the beach, my husband developed a serious toothache. I called Dr. Barragan on Saturday morning and he was able to see him that day. Turned out to be something he could deal with immediately. Relief. He's been good about dealing with emergencies and his fees are reasonable, but if you need work done on a non-emergency basis, by all means make an appointment ASAP. Takes a while.

Dr. Carlos comes to Dr. Candy's office (Dental Health One) from Guadalajara to perform root canals. I have been very pleased with all the recent work I've had them do.

Her office is in the complex with Mom's Deli & Restaurant, first door on the right. (I don't have her phone number at hand; I'm still having to use a public internet site for connection to this board & other sites.)

And besides, Lehrer, there's the priceless benefit: Candy holds your hand.

I would go to an endodonist that several people recommend highly. I have a few friends recommend highly. I have friends who had root canals done lakeside and they had and abcess later and had to have the tooth pulled. PM me if you want to know the name of the doctor that did those root canals.

I had two root canals done in Guadalajara but an endocontist 12 years ago and they are OK.

There is an endodonitst that Dr. Haro referred my friend to in Guadalajara and she was impressed with his root canal work. it's Dr. Diaz - don't have an address but phone is 333 616-0180.

I would probably go to Dr. Barragan. He did a great job on my molar extraction at 7:30 at night.

I need to mention that Dr. Candy agreed to see me on a Saturday (12th of November) because a peanut had split one of my pre-molars! (Can you believe it? A freakin' peanut!)

It turned out that Dr. Carlos was also scheduled to come in that day, and he performed the root canal that prepped me for further treatment: Installing a post into the root and applying a crown. The appointment for the crown is this Friday, the 2nd of December. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I've received.

It took Dr. Candy more than an hour to shave the crown down enough and to shape it to where it wasn't grinding on the bridge below. She was very diligent and kept working until it was perfect.

(I have to confess, though, she related to me that dentists have the highest suicide rate of all professions. She intimated that it was because of such things as we were experiencing with my crown -- which was very difficult to fit.)

She's the only dentist I've ever had whom I could hug when I arrived or left the office!
