Missed communications

Candace looked rather frustrated as she motioned for me to come into the dry cleaners. I was waiting in the car in case someone drove up the side street that we were partially blocking but traffic was light so I came in. Our rather large bundle of curtains were clean, paid for and sitting on the counter.

"Well he doesn't want me to take them and I don't know what he is talking about." Candace said.

The old man was very apologetic but thought the bundle was too heavy for a lady to carry so he had called his son to help and he would be there in just a momentito.

I wonder how often we gringos get frustrated for the wrong reasons?
