Places to rent for summer?

I am going to be a resident in Chapala for Aug and Sept (at Spencer's) and now it seems that "going to Chapala" is becoming quite the trend for people over here on the coast. I came over last Oct and spent 3 weeks at Spencer's. There was one other couple from Mazatlán that I know of, in Ajijíc. This summer, I know of at least 8 people that have arrangements for 2 months stays, and many others who want to come. Tonight a friend asked me if I knew how to find a place for her, husband and 3 dogs. There is a rental page on this site, but most of the offerings are for long term rentals, and are unfortunately too expensive for people that maintain another home. Perhaps we could have a temporary rent topic page, just for folks from Maz and other beach towns who want to cool off for a while. Maybe those with long-term rentals that aren't occupied would consider a 2 month rental at a bargain price.

Shouldn't be a problem to find a cheap short term lease during the summer months. If nothings pops up here you can also take a look at this site:
