Kombucha Tea Empty Kombucha Tea

Most people have never heard of Kombucha Tea much less have drank any. It is a fermented drink that you make at hoke, and drink a little each day. You make it out of black tea and sugar and put the "mushroom" on top and in about a week (at 77 degrees). the drink is ready. You then take the "baby" that has formed on top of the previous mushroom and use it for the next batch. It contains pretty much all the B vitamins, and important acid such as acetic acid (vinegar), gluconic acid, Ethanol (alcohol), lactic acid. It causes the body to enter a alkaline condition which in turn helps keep the bodies immune system strong. The benefits of Kombuchu include: keep the body in an alkaline condition, boost the immune system, fight diseases, detoxes your liver, amongst other things. It is usually a sweet and sour tasting drink. I have been making and drinking Kombuchu tea for twenty years. I love it. Yeah.... but isn't there a Pill for that....
a week for a cup of tea?.... well I suppose I could throw it in the fridge alongside my ole sandwich... it's been sitting there a couple o weeks now too....kinda green/gray fuzzy now....

It has a sweet and sour taste. It taste like apple cider.

Hocks,

I don't think they've come up with a Kombucha pill yet, but part of the fun, besides growing it, is getting it downs your throat, knowing once you do it'll help you in so many different ways.
