Giant Crystal Cave

On National Geographic right now they're showing a HUGE crystal cave in Chihuahua. It's unbelievable! Crystals as big as telephone poles and hot as hell!

The big problem at the present is the insecurity in the State of Chihuahua! There isn't enough money in this world to get me to travel up there right now.

I doubt very seriously that they'd let tourists in. Way too dangerous.

Since his article was written in 2003, it is hard to say how planning has progressed.

The area they were showing was major hot. They limited the time for the scientists to five minutes. They said that after ten minutes cells started to die and organs shut down. We're talking MUCHO not tourist friendly. The cause was thermal vents coming up from the magma. There may be some other areas that are not so life threatening.
