Post subject: Kitten needs a home or needs to be disposed of
My neighbor and I both ended up with kittens probably from a feral mom. Mine was not people friendly. He's been in the yard two days crying for mom. Today I went after him and he didn't run ... I think because he couldn't see. Has an eye infection. I just put him/her in a cat carrier and will take him to the vet but only if someone wants him .... otherwise??? A grey tiger probably 4-5 weeks old. Suggestions

Tuna. Even a feral kitty will find it irresistible. Go slow, don't touch at first. If he's socialized at all he will be much easier to place. Best of luck. Sorry I'm not there to help. Lizzy

His eye's are better without a vet .... and yes, tuna and milk. He tries the dry food but is not quite ready. Sometimes enjoys being held and will purr and sometimes he'll run and hide. I'm going to keep him for a week before he goes to Anita's. Think he's using the cat box

Feral cats usually become domesticated fairly quickly if taken in as a kitten. Even young adults will come around in time. We took a few in when I had a farm.
