Interjet ?????'s
I was starting to play with reservations for our next Mexico trip and ran across the fact that Interjet flys Orange County to Guadalajara for quite reasonable fares. One plus is their 110lb (2bags) free baggage allowance versus the ever changing baggage policy with Volaris.
Has anyone had any experience with their international flights?

Interjet is great. I think it, and also Volaris, have more liberal luggage allowances for international flights than they do for domestic. But maybe Volaris changed their policy. Regardless, I wouldn't hesitate to fly either one, and in fact would choose both over any US-based airline.

Not sure just when but Volaris did reduce their weight allowance for one checked bag from 55lb to 33lb on international flights and their definitions for a 22lb carry-on bag are so confusing not even the ticket agents at the airport understand what qualifies. Naturally, they will sell you extra lbs at varying rates depending on when you arrange such. With this exception, we have always enjoyed our Volaris flights.

It was 33lbs on our Guad to Cancun flight last month. So domestic also.

Going as far back as August of 2011, domestic flights have always been 33lbs but international was 55lb. In August of 2011, they charged $12 for extra 22lbs of checked and 11lb of carry-on for each leg if done while booking. In August of 2012, it remained 55lbs but the add-on charge was $19. By February of 2013, the weight allowance on international had been reduced to 33lb and the add-on charge had been raised to $29 for each leg. This past trip, we paid $998.99MXN for an extra 44lbs on our return trip to account for all that we had purchased. Volaris is doing exactly what most every airlines is doing: they have identified a new revenue source and are playing it for all that it is worth!
The baggage issue is one of the things making Interjet attractive because of the 110lb free allowance for checked bags. Our problem is rarely an issue when heading down but it is bringing everything back home with us.
An additional plus is that Interjet also gives a 20% discount for anyone over 65!
