sorry-they are. all the same features but slightly difernt colouration from being in difernt waters. all the fish pictured are juvenile as well,and i would venture to say when they reach adulthood they probly would even more closely resemble each other.
ocean run brooks are mainly silver[but with typical markings] until they run upstream to spawn as we found out fishing the james bay watershed who's rivers run into hudson's bay.
until then i had never seen a silver and didn't even know they existed.

The above photo was taken @ Lake Roosevelt Washington 2005. We caught Small Mouth Bass to 4 pounds, Rainbow trout to 7 pounds, Kokanee to 4 pounds, and Wall Eye!

speaking of fly rods. unlike puters and low quality fishing equipment, my hardy fly rod and reel has gone through the roof since the earl '70's. i had a 5', 2 piece glass with matching ultralight reel. don't think i'll replace them fer the few times i might use them here. except fer earlier bamboo but not reels, i always thought hardy equipment was la creme de la creme.
