Interesting. Just a few days ago MS was quoted as saying, no, there wouldn't be a Start button.

I am looking forward to 8.1, as they offer reintegration of User Settings. These are settings that traditionally get spread out all over the map with each new release, when really they should be together. With W8, they produced the worst clap-trap of mismatched settings locations ever.

We'll see.

Just picked up a new Dell and it as W8 preloaded. I find it very confusing to navigate and set up. I find myself going back to the desktop mode - glad they still have it so I can get out of that W8 shell. I hope they make some improvements.
