About the Pool Game... Empty About the Pool Game...

Due to the arrival of the snowbirds, we had an overflow turnout for last week's pool shoot at Carlos' place in Chapala. Some seemed interested in setting up a second shoot for Fridays so more people can get a chance to play. Carlos welcomes the idea. His regular hours are 3:00 to 10:00 p.m. He says the tables are getting resurfaced. Won't that be nice! Anyway, we can discuss it with him Wednesday. I'll be there to interpret.

Did the time change also mean a change in days too? Everything I have looked at indicates that today is Monday.

What is with ball in hand locally? I have never played that the cue ball can be placed anywhere the shooter chooses. I play that one shoots from behind the headline. How about if I scratch and my opponent is shooting the eight ball and it is behind the head line is the black ball spotted or must he shoot up the table. In Canada a miscue on eight ball results in loss of game apparently not here.

Hard 8 means ya gotta hit the 8 or lose. Set the rules 1st. Beer
