Are there taxis in SJC or do you have to call for one from Ajijic or Jocotepec?

I've caught a taxi from SJC without calling.
You just have to look for them sitting.
Between the plaza and the carratera

At the balneario we have a couple of cabs that give us service when we call them, If you like I can get you the numbers

I use Sam Garcia in SJC. He may come in his car or a taxi. Ask him for the price of the trip - he is much cheaper than the taxis in Ajijic. Cell phone 331 0180107. He speaks English.
