Any suggestions where to stay a few nights in Mazamitla? My daughter and granddaughter are coming to visit.

Cabins in the woods/pines are popular but don't know about hotels. Some have web sites but I can't find the links

If you go up during the week, it would be no problem to find a place. Go to the central square and start looking off of it. Plenty of nice places, you can't miss.

I wouldn't try this on the weekends as the place fills up with Tapatios.

While in Mazamitla you might like to take a drive on the (Ruta Ecoturistica Sierra del Tigre) it's an easy scenic drive with some nice overlooks.
