Connecting HD TV to amp with surround sound speakers

Post by Jim W on Wed Dec 04, 2013 8:06 pm

There is a sound delay from amp vs TV sound. Is their anyway to eliminate problem? Turning volume on TV off creates another issue sound out of sync with speakers mouth.

TIA,

Sometimes there is an adjustment and sometimes there is not. My TV sound does the same
thing compared to the sound bar. In my instance I could not find an adjustment. I use one
or the other.

Are there sound types, i.e. theater, concert, etc.? I used to have an amp where they could be adjusted as well as delay.

Best Buy was not a good choice for solution.......Turn TV Volume off, listen to amp, with delay and lips out of sync!

Neil, Arbon's suggested fix on another thread has solved the delay problem for me. There is no sound delay on DVD or TV shows while running thru my amp. Thumbs up
