Renewing Texas vehicle Registration Empty Renewing Texas vehicle Registration

My vehicle registration In Tx has expired. Is it possible to do this at the border? I understand I need to prove insurance coverage, anything else I might need? It is registered in Webb County. I would renew online but have to drive it NoB soon, not enough time to receive the sticker via mail.

I think your best bet is to call Webb County vehicle registration office and ask them directly. Easy enough to do with all the Vonage-like telephones here.
