Are you really as ignorant as you come across as? Of course it will play locally. It was released several months ago. Try paying attention to the world around you instead of getting your "news" off gringo interenet sites..

Was a good flick (Infierno), I bought it to show Mexican friends here in the US. Little will change for Mexico in 2011, more single moms with no plans for the future, more killings, more local crime as the locals will have their deported countrymen to compete against, more people wanting to go north to be maids and gardeners, more gringos heading south for cheaper living.

Nothing in Mexico will change unless the people change and until that happens, i.e. Mexicans wanting to fix their country and culture (become a culture to stop ignoring criminal family members and start reporting crimes, start fighting for safety and demanding all the things they flee to the US to demand) and placing education first as well as family planning, it will be all the same with little change as the poor and uneducated masses are growing, feel hopeless and want to be the "man" or "chingon" not looking into the future and families having more kids than they can control / parent.

I think there must be an echo somewhere.

Whether it's the U.S., Mexico or anywhere else in the world where poverty is rampant and people have more children than they can feed and/or educate, there will be more and more crime and misery. The problem expands yearly, in geometric proportions.
Meanwhile, religions, including Christian, Muslim, and others encourage unlimited reproduction.
As if that weren't bad enough, the population increase is primarily most noticeable in the poorer areas, at the same time it is falling in the first world countries and among educated women everywhere, including Mexico.

if there is a clue, it's being missed. Malthus had it right.

The word "proofreading" is an interesting one. Maybe if wants to offer "proof" of their notions, "reading" would be a good exercise to conduct before "sending".

I find that if I re-read what I've scribbled, a stiff "edit" is in order and the sentences as well as the paragraphs shrink drastically in the process. IMO, this is a courtesy to those who are willing to read it.

I'm not a professional linguist, but am from a long line of teachers and writers. The above is what I learned early, from them.

True could be the US but in the US people are getting lazier, i.e. now looking for the easy buck as they can't trade stocks or flip homes. Pretty soon the gravy train of taking alot of drugs and going on disability and burning yourself with coffee and suing will be limited.

Americans are going to pay for all the crap and social programs, I'm glad I won't be there and my expenses are low, that's the real secret to living well!

You'd never know it from the teenaged moms around here.....but hey, that's the little picture, I know.

Intercasa's post, I find disturbing. The lack of a safety net in Mexico produces some very tragic results. In the U.S., there are liars and cheats, but also people who are getting help because they truly need it. What kind of a society abandons those who are s.o.l. through no fault of their own?
I guess it's one that says: "I've got mine, so screw you." No matter what.

Correcto. The birth rate here is almost exactly the same as the USA. Since the large majority of the people here are considered poor that doesn't seem to substantiate the statement that the poor are spitting out kid after kid.
