Something going on around Guad with blockades....

Title says it all. Do some Research before heading to Guad. Something is going on. From US consulate. No specific information was given as to where, what, when, why. Just a warning and it involves the main highways around Guad.

I will be driving by the place it all happened in a few minutes, 2 blocks from my home so I'll post and novelties, it did suck being woke up by helicopters this morning.

Went by the place where it happened 3 times in the past few hours, all calm but 2 masked military guys on the corner

The facts are that I drove the Guad hwy past the airport to the Periferico at 10AM, there were many Policia and Army troops between the airport and Periferico, but no blockades and traffic was moving well.  Where were you? YMMV.

Well I will be sure to never do this again.

Why??   I don't see any strong objection to what you did...maybe about the timing a little bit, but not enough to keep one from posting.

To answer your question, while heading out of town - towards Tepic,  Hoodlums were shooting at cars and we consider our self's lucky since windows can be replaced. I don't think that I have ever been that scared in my life.
