Bob, something wrong here

The site has been loading super slow all day long. This is the only site I am seeing this on.

Worked fine for me today.....

It has been slow for me too. Don't know what is up. Hopefully it clears itself by tomorrow.

It was funky earlier today....but right now seems okay.

Yeah it is OK for me now too. Perhaps the host was beefing up their servers with the latest security fixes.

Still super slow for me this morning. Any suggestions as to what to check on my computer?

yesterday Yahoo and Insidelakeside where really slow, today they are normal..who knows.

If that's true it sounds more like a internet problem rather than a inside lakeside problem.

but hot mail and gmail were ok so why' I could not open yahoo or Insidelakesire for the longest time but the others were ok.

Depends on which server they use. Perhaps Yahoo and Inside Lakeside on the same master server out there in internet land........

i am not having any problems at all on here but i do have trouble from time to time with the newspapers i go to. they have worked just fine for tHe past few days too. maybe youse have got a bleeding heart-SNORK!

Whenever InsideLakeside starts loading slowly or is showing delays when going from topic to topic, I run a simple little program called CCleaner: https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

It clears out caches and cleans up a few other things in relatively quick fashion (under 5 minutes). Bounces me out of InsideLakeside so that I have to log in once again. But things really run much faster after it is done.

This morning Inside was loading just fine. I was out for a while and when I tried to get on this afternoon, it would not open at all. Everything else was loading just fine. Just now I tried again and it is back to normal. I did nothing.

OK, ran CCleaner and that fixed the problem.

My first clue that I need to run this program comes when I open my gmail account. If it loads slowly, then it is time.

Just be mindful that running it will delete some things you may wish were not deleted.... You suggested that it 'bounced you out' of Lakeside.com  but what it is really doing is wiping out your login. While this is not a big problem, some folks may not 'remember' their password, etc  (or forget where they put them). It also get's rid of other things unless you ask it not to do so.  Just saying.....

I could not get on for roughly 2 days. Part of that may be that I have no patience, so if a site does not load right away, I move on and come back later. And I FINALLY GOT ON! My behavior has been reinforced! --what is the expression?--doing something the same way again and again but expecting a different result is...stupidity? BUT IT WORKED!

What you say is true but I have been using it so long that I am used to what goes away and it doesn't remove bookmarks, so very little trouble to find sites once again.

As for the topic at hand, for the first time in a long time, I have been experiencing a slowdown all day. Ran CCleaner twice but the site didn't go back to normal until after I did a restart. Never had to do that in the past?

mine still works fine without adding other nonsense to screw things up.

Off and on over the past four days, I get the major slow down for Inside Lakeside--though on nothing else. It does it for several hours and then is fine. I change, run, do nothing. It just comes and goes.
