Received an email from Best of Lake Chapala today. Here is the text.

Preliminary voting on BestofLakeChapala.com ended Saturday, Nov. 15. Since then we have been compiling the list of finalists and have the voting deactivated so that no votes received afterwards could affect the tallies during the compilation process.

The finalists will be posted tonight, with voting taking place over the 6-week period between Wed. Nov 19 and Wed. Dec. 31. All finalist votes will be starting at zero for this stage of voting. Be sure to vote once a day and utilize fully the benefits of social networking.

All of these Lakeside merchants and service providers are to be congratulated for reaching the finalist stage!

This is it... a sprint to the finish.
