Dental Clinic update

We've reached our goal for the equipment.

We have had two meetings with state authorities and today met the dentist to be assigned to our clinic

There is another meeting tomorrow.

Bureaucratic details still need to be worked out i.e. the dentists contract and how much he will be paid, we will retain ownership of the equipment so it will not be subject to administration changes, how are we going to supply the office and get materials.

The governor's mother is going to be asked to help through her foundation.

We have told the Guadalajara authorities we are anxious to get setup and serving the community. The dentist is on board - he even asked if he could start on a temporary basis.

The secretary of the asst. Secretary of Health said she anticipated we could open the doors in a month...or so. We emphasized how eager we were to get going. However, these things move on Mexico time not gringo time.

You should run the Mayors next election campaign.

That would be Harry, not me. He is a Mexican citizen, so he actually could do this but I don't think it's a happening thing!
