The only salvation to the financial aspect of this crash is if Pedro had 'uninsured motorist' or the boracho had any insurance at all. Pretty unlikely, I'd guess, and Pedro has already stated he only had 'collision'.

I think Pedro stated that he did not have collision.  Probably only has liability which is mandated by law.

Sorry to hear about your situation, Pedro! I sure hope things work out to get some satisfaction for you eventually, but something tells me it may take awhile and lots of effort.

i have not slept since the crash at 2 am and yes there is a lot of shyte going on. jesus has been very active and axxis has fired the adjuster who didn't show up. shortly i will try to sleep. I HAVE THE PROPER INSURANCE and axxis has provided a lawyer even though i don't have collision.

We had a semi rear end our brand new car as we were paying a toll in Michoacan. The truck and we were covered by AXA. The Michoacan AXA adjuster showed right away and they are paying for everything
. In our case we have collision but the truck insurrance is paying for everything, they would have given us a loaner as well but we had not sold the old car so we are back driving it until we get our car back in a month or so.

¿How's your neighbour doing, is he in jail or hospital?

imss hospital and it looks like he may not have insurance so after hospital off to jail unless they can come up with the money for my truck.

Like Zenwoodie said, I'm glad you weren't injured, and it's just a truck! I know it's a PITA but just thank your lucky stars that you weren't in it at the time!

waiting for ministerio publico to initiate action. try not to get hit by a drunk with no insurance. by the way,no matter what,to ad insult to injury,even if you are the victim, your vehicle will be impounded until the ministerio publico lays charges on the perp or longer as it is evidence.
