Can the Ministerio Publico who comes to Lake Chapel Society take crime reports?

I am aware that a Ministerio Publico representative comes to LCS twice a month. Does he take police reports for a robbery? My friend was robbed and needs to file a report. I assume this person speaks some English if he is coming to LCS. Does anyone know if she can go and speak to him or does she need to find a translator and go into the MP office in Chapala?

it's a very involved and generally long process[speaking from experience]. she goes to the office in chapala. i would highly recommend that she take a certified translator with her or she is just wasting her time. we are using spencer because he is a certified court translator and a mexican lawyer. he made the appointments for us and even that didn't work the first time as someone else butted in ahead of us and the second time the same thing happened so spencer made the appointment the 3rd time at 9:30 am-numero uno. she really needs someone to tell her what she needs to take with her and how many copies of documents ,etc.

They do have an English speaking MP at LCS but they will take a while
