Smash and grab on Colon at Corona

Last night our neighbor's car window was smashed as the car was parked on the street in front of our Ajijic apartments on Colon just west of Corona. Her stereo and shoes were stolen. We can understand the stereo, but the shoes really make it personal.

A good reminder to NEVER leave anything visible in a parked car. That seems to be true everywhere; in any country.

Like a radio isn't visible?

Were they running shoes or high heels?

Well, obviously, they were high-heeled running shoes! The latest thing!

We have been having problems in Lower Ajijic with this kind of stuff for the last month or so. Seems over to Colon now.  Was down close to LCS.  We need my lady Canadian friend to come back as she got the last thief arrested farther east from LCS a few years ago.  This kinda stuff was happening at night.  Was this one at night?

Oops, made mistake on location: Constitucion near Corona. It was late, probably after midnight. The car was newish VW with Colima plates.

They seem to be hitting the tourist vehicles. I have seen 2 cars with out of state plates get broken into by the LCS in the past 3 weeks. Both had the side glass smashed in the middle of the night.
