The biggest surprise is that the authorities have admitted it. The US won't be too pleased to hear this since they were pushing hard to have him extradited after he was captured.

Well,he did sign a petition complaining about the food in that prison,I guess he just got tired of waiting for the authorities to do something about it.

According to El Universal, he escaped through a tunnel more than a kilometer long.

Maybe, if New York State hasn't completely disbanded their 1,000 strong prison escape search team, they could send them down as a friendly, neighborly act. After all there are Mexican fire fighters in Canada.

Andrew Cuomo reported at press conference Sunday evening. The tunnel was built with high level architectural and engineering skills. Thirteen tons of escombro, rubble, and dirt removed.
Probably a German engineering company or some of the contractors who worked on the Durango to Mazatlan new highway.

The one thing these two (Trump and Guzman) have in common is.....
with their money they don't need the outside help of any political party or entity for survival.
I'm sure El Chapo could get that tunnel dug without the help or approval of EPN or anyone else in the PRI.
