The new immigration office is open in Chapala, Hopefully Intercasa will fill us in

Thanks for the GREAT news!!! It sure will help me because I'm handicapped and have walking difficulties.

This is really good news! It should be much easier to get through the process since there will be no trips in snd out of Guadalajara.

My staff went there today with clients at 9:30am to give them time after 9am to be ready. Nobody got there to do business until 10:30am. They are receiving documents but will not be processing or issuing the new cards for at least 4 days so if you need the card before that you still have to go to Guadalajara.

Does the new office in Chapala do any other things like in Gdl. Met up with a guy in Gdl at the office trying to get a marriage license and I have to presume they do other things as well.

They do all sorts of transactions except currently they are not doing inmigrado, you need to finish the process in Guadalajara as well as certain nationalities need to finish things in Guadalajara.

Spencer does a great job, plus free tequila....LOL...he has great staff...just make appt.

I like the free tequila idea. So if a bottle of tequila is 500 pesos, i like good stuff, how many drinks do i need to have to break even.....

Dude you are tooooo funny........Intercasa pours the good stuff...cost is 90 pesos per liter......LOL....He does a great job....good staff....one block from Chapala Immigration....he does all the work minus photo's.
