On Demand hot water heater

I just finished some new construction and installed a Bosch "on demand" hot water heater in a new bathroom. One thing I was not aware of is that these heaters require a minimum 30 PSI to activate and stay activated. I have a pressure tank system so it was not a problem to turn up my pressure to 30 - 50 however for those people with a gravity system beware that this type of hot water heater may not work for you.

Solar hot water works very well with gravity systems!

And just to be clear these are the type of heaters that have no small reserve tank and no pilot light. The flame is activated when it senses water pressure. I also have a different one in one of my casita's that has a pilot light so doesn't require water pressure to activate it. Of course it is also burning propane unnecessarily.

I had a Bosch on-demand water heaters for 10+ years.  They are great. Never run out of hot water unless you run out of propane.  Service from Bosch was excellent.

My heaters had a pilot light and still required water pressure to activate the switch. Cbob, what fires up the burners when you don't have a pilot?

It has batteries that fire up the burners. 2 D cells.

Why are you looking for a "...HOT water heater"?

If the water is already hot why heat it?

However, if you are desperate for something to make yourself feel smarter about and shore up what appears to be fragile self esteem, have at it. Just don't expect a lot of us to be impressed.

Sounds to me that if there's a naco on this thread it's you.

The on demand also do not work if they are very far away from where they dispense the water..

Nothing to do with temperature, looking for a stolen water heater at a discounted price, preferably from some naco.

Believe it or not there is such a thing as a "Hot water heater" it take hot water and makes it hotter. Its an industrial piece.
