Is there anyway to delete it?
For some reason it's become my start page,(not sure on the correct terminology),but it's PITA.

On my system, I go to Control Panel>Internet Options>Home Page in order to make these changes. Your system should be somewhat similar.

Yep, that sounds right. You must have downloaded something that had Ask.Com as part of the package. Sometimes it is important to read about all the "add-ons" when you are downloading.
