We ran into "John Folgarty" at the Ajijic tianguis today. He played a song for us.....

The guy was not to bad. A few years ago we went to see CCR Revisited at the Auditorio Telmex. John wasn't there, but his replacement was damn good. It was a real hoot to to see aprox 16000 Mexicians, most over the age of 60, standing up, clapping their hands over their heads, and singing Proud Mary in English

That guy plays the different tianguis in Guadalajara also. Last time I saw him was at the Sunday antiques tianguis on Av. Mèxico.

He draws a nice little crowd.

Yes! I was trying to remember where I saw him. I was just at the Sunday antiques market and he was there in style.
