2016 Chili Cook Off

Congratulations to Mexican Revolution Chili for winning Sundays chili event. Second place was Jose Melendrez and third place was La Mesa restaurant.

Thanks to all our volunteers, sponsors and board of director's for another successful year. We will see everyone at the 39th event in 2017.

I for one would like to thank C.B. for his work owning this board and for his volunteer work. I could not imagine running the chile fest.

Thanks. After 4 years I have called it quits and will be passing the reins to a new President. I am looking forward to enjoying the event next year as a competitor and guest.

I was there Saturday and it was crowded. I swear I walked sideways most of the time I was there.

Do you have attendance figures for this year yet?

Oh yeah.....it was even better than ever.

Saturdays paid attendance was approximately 1600. There are also hundreds of volunteer's, entertainers, vendors and Tobolandia guest's/ employee's on the grounds at any given time.

It was just great - a lot of fun. Thanks, Bob to you all who helped you.
