I remember stepping off the Chapala pier into a boat in the summer of 1966. The lake was full and the water pristine.

For those of us that lived in Ajijic back in the 60's the town was a jewel. It has changed, some for better, some for worst. Being a kid in Ajijic was something else. there was basically no way to get in trouble, in less you stole somebody's corn.

Naw...I'm still there. Been trying to avoid an exgirlfriend, and keep the windows closed and shuttered so it looks like nobody's home.
