Body of a white female. . .

. . .mid 60's, short, stocky, longish grey hair, washed up on the beach at Villa Obregon by Melaque today. The police are looking to identify her. This was reported to me by a friend living in Melaque whom the police asked for help with.
PLEASE SHARE and check on any single female friends that might match that description.

The investigators say she is caucasian, in her mid 60s, short, stocky build, with long graying hair. Call tourist police at 315 112 8023 or 066 if you can help to identify her. They believe the current may have brought her from Barra.

New notice - An aquaintance spoke to Gabriel, the Tourist Police Officer in Villa Obregon and informed us that she has been identified. She lived in Barra.

I don't know if the tide was just "average" or a bit more dangerous than usual, but I was in Barra Friday and Saturday and got hammered and thrown by a few waves. And I grew up on the beach in Southern California so am not unfamiliar with the ocean.

I got out.

Sad no matter what, just hope it was an accident.

Not sure about Barra surf .... but I did a cartwhell in the Melaque surf for relaxing too much. Very few shore breaks in So Cal like here
