printer repair

Searching for someone who does printer repair. Do not know the brand of printer.

Take the printer to the cartridge refill kiosk near the Zeta Gas company. If they can't fix it, they will send it to Guad.

There is also a repair shop in Chapala on the north side of the street coming from Ajijic/San Antonio/Riberas a bit before you get to the traffic lights. Sorry I do not remember the name but it is fairly close to the real estate office. It is quite a small place but it does have a sign.

They (SICI) closed a couple of months ago.

Most printers cost less than 1000 pesos these days and are not worth repairing. The major cost is ink. You can probably get a new one for less than 600 pesos
The refill kiosk near Zeta gas is no longer in operation and SiCi on Hidalgo has either moved or is closed down.
Try the refill shop on Ocampo in the first block East from Aquille Serdan (spelling). They may have a solution or Computerland in Riberas or Bennos in Plaza Interalago

Thanks - I haven't been past there for a while. I agree with some of the other posts that maybe the OP should consider buying a new printer.

For at least 4 years, I have completely stopped playing that printer/ink game with corporate America! Tired of being on the sucker/losing end with that and surprised at how little I really NEED a printer - and stacks of printed stuff laying around that eventually ends up in the trash!

The few times I need printed materials I load the file on a memory stick and take it to Papelería Trinidad in SAT. BOOM!

Works for me. Might work for you too.

What, the papelería? Yes, it was bought and the dad and his sons are a delight! They give great service, their printers are awesome, and they will go out of their way to help you.

Try them.

Unless they've closed in the last week, they are still open. A nice young man named Eric, I think a nephew?, is working there.
