Mercado Libre

One of the members here referred me to the Mercado Libre and I found what I wanted to order. I placed the order and got my bank to authorize the charge as they do not in any way trust a Mexican online vendor. Then the M.L. wanted me to verify my identity with a photo or an upload of my IFE or INE card. Well, only citizens of Mexico can obtain such a card as it is their voter ID card. The M.L. offers no way to pay at places like OXXO, nor do they accept PayPal Mexico.

So much for the Mercado Libre.

no problem with paying with mastercard. oxxo , banamex bbva, santander options are available as well. just check the opening page !!

This dude seems to have problems few others have encountered. I have purchased items off Mercado Libre and have never been asked for any type of ID. The ML start page has a link that will open this message:

I placed an order with MercadoLIbre two days ago and was notified that if I wanted immediate shipping I would have to submit a photo ID, etc. I declined and the parcel was shipped today. A two day delay with no ID.
