buying a polaris & bringing to Ajijic
I was wondering about buying a Polaris RZR in McAllen, but I am wondering if I would have trouble bringing it back across the border on a trailer? I would be driving a Mexican plated truck. My friend says there is not a problem but I would like to be sure

A Polaris RZR is like a off road dune buggy

Now that looks like fun. You thinking of driving it on the streets or just off road?

Re: buying a polaris & bringing to Ajijic
Last year, some people I know, brought one down from Texas. They had it loaded in their full size truck while pulling a loaded flat bed trailer. Their very close Mexican friends were also traveling with them in a separate vehicle. Narcos pulled them over and were ready to take everything & threatened to kidnap different individuals. The Mexican friend talked to the narocs and they were able to get away unharmed with all their belongings. There is more to the story but I can't write it here. No one was or is involved with drugs or organized crime.
I realize you are wanting to put it inside of a trailer and their's was clearly exposed but thought you may appreciate the information.

That will be a blast. You will have to take me for a ride in it. Any idea what the top speed is?
