is there a " dog Park " here ?

I notice that Pat's behind WalMart has closed. I am also aware that the " play area " by Rivera Alta requires a leash which cuts down on the amount of energy burned off by the dog. By the way, I understand why things changed at the play area by Rivera Alta.

Anyway, does anyone know of a secure area where a dog can run off leash for a while?

Many people let their dogs run off leash on the lakefront down in front of the Ajijic Malecon where it doesn't bother any of the pedestrians up top.

Cristiana Park has many walkers with dogs off leash every morning. Free in the early hours. Hope they are picking up.

Most people "up top" carry the leashes, hang them around their necks and never put 'em on the pup. Leashed dogs are a rare sighting.
