Rain and Hailstones

At the west side of Ajijic we have heavy rain and hailstones, strange.....

Biggest hailstones I've seen in my 12 years here! I swear they were a half inch wide--bounced all over the grass and caused waves of water to overflow the fountain.

East side close to la floresta .nothing.
Plenty of thunder and dark clouds that come and go.

Still pouring in west Ajijic--I bet the carretera in the area near the Tues. market is flooded again, as it was Wed.

Nada en San Antonio.

Hail is usually like a cloud burst so it is pretty normal for it to destroy crop on side of a road and not the other so nothing surprising about having hail in one part of town and not the other..

Nada in Chapala so far.

That is/was a great example of how localized a storm here can be. Amazing that there was little or none of it so nearby. I was at the Brewhouse in W. Ajijic when it started and it DUMPED. Torential. Two waves of it.

Sitting there I remembered my car windows were open a little bit....oh well.... nothing I could do but order another beer and wait for it to stop.

P.S. The car survived and so did I. Real Madrid...not so much. Barcelona 3, RM 2.
