Where do you buy vitamins?

My usual sources no longer carry what I want and Puritan Pride refuses to ship to Mexico. Checked Dr. Elizabeth, Prasad hasn't had the last 4 things I went there for so I've given up on them, and saw what GNC had but was way expensive. Does Farmacia Guadalajara carry vitamins? I know Costco does, will the Costco shopper people bring back just a bottle or two of vitamins? Does anyone have a contact link for whoever is doing that now?

Farmacia Express II sells vitamins. They’re behind the counter. I’m thinking they’re Puritan’s Pride but could be wrong about that.

Thanks, Carry Bean. She used to have PP but no longer and said the distributor was in an accident or some other story. So I bought another brand she sold and starting feeling like I was being glutened. Since it was the only thing new in my diet, I asked her if she would call the company/distributor and ask and she said she was much too busy to do that. So, I've been much too busy to shop there anymore.

What’s you experience with Vit B12? I heard it wasn’t easily absorbed in the stomach so it’s better as an injection.

Yes, that's what they say but I'm starting with tablets and I can tell you after 2 days I feel SO much better. No dragging myself around, napping, feeling miserable, think I'm good for now. Do you get the shots.

Good. Hope it works for you too. I'm taking B Complex. I think if you get the shots you have to take them often. Wonder what the half-life for B12 is.

My doctor told me the same thing about B12 not being well absorbed in the stomach. He recommended sublingual B12. I take it for tingling and itching in my lower arms and hands. It is fast and effective however it does not last very long.

With watersoluble vitamins how do injections work? Wouldn't most of it quickly get flushed out of your system?

I also heard of nasal gel.

I was charged 174MP for shipping on my order. I imagine it varies.

I think the gain in the play with injections is that it's a intramuscular shot so would enter the blood stream faster and more directly than having to go through the GI tract and be subject to gastric acids before absorption into the blood stream.

You take your B12 SL, do you buy the injections and spray under your tongue or do you somehow buy liquid B12?
