Deep tissue massage - for pain?

Can anybody offer a rec for a person who does deep tissue massage for pain? This has nothing to do with a relaxation massage, it's for a serious lower back situation. And if he/she works Saturdays somewhere between Riberas and West Ajijic even better. Name and contact info much appreciated. Thank you!

I would avoid Maria, personally. She uses a machine that does more tissue damage than good. I saw her for around 6-months and came away worse off than when I started.

Lolita is on Calle Degollado, one block before where you pay for your refrendo. She has been studying and practicing for many years and is now in school to add acupuncture to her list of modalities practiced. She kept me out of hospital after I fell very forcefully on my tailbone and hip (desk chair shot out from under me) and has virtually alleviated long-standing chronic pain from two worn out knees. Rosa, I'm sorry you have pain and I'm sure you are on the right track for your body but whenever I have had musculoskeletal pain Jonathan at the PT place next to Ajijic Clinic inside the parking lot has taken the pain away in one session and kept it away in 3 or 4 treatments. Deep tissue massage is part of his bag of tricks.

Maria has never used a machine on me. Is that a new thing? or s it the same Maria?

Same Maria. Maybe enough people complained about the machines she used that she had to stop. They were simply awful and according to her, expensive to keep replacing.
